Mean Mommy!
Der I was enjoyin a nap when Mommy comes wif my new Christmas sweater and says, "Emmie, wake up! We is goin fer a car ride!" I thought maybe I were goin' to my groomer ta get all beautified fer Valentine's Day but when we passed her lane, I started ta get suspicious...Uh oh, I thought, you missed da turn off! Well, imagine my surprise when we headed fer town an Mommy pulled it at....(wait fer it!) my vet lady's office! We walked in an eberybody were oohin an ahin at my pretty sweater and then it took a dark turn. In to a room we went an my tech lady took me in da back...Well, nofin good eber happens back der an sure enuf, her started pawin at my backend...anal glands emptied, blood work drawn, TWO SHOTS...oh yes, one in each butt cheek, an my ears an teeth checked!! Dat are a lot fer one liddle dog in one day an ta show my appreciation, I left a puddle on da floor fer dem ta clean up! Oh yes, I showed dem what I thought a dem! When we gots home, Mommy tried ta make up fer it an I turned my back on her, settled into my fav chair an stayed der fer a couple a hours. Her are goin ta hab ta work harder ta get on my good side I do say! Hope all a you had a better day dan I did!Lub, sore Emmie Sue (who are still giben Mommy da cold shoulder!

Oh no Miss Emmie!!!!! How terrible! You got to watch out for those Vet tech's they are sneaky! Jewel and I feel your pain. We are glad it's all over and you are back home! Oh Bestest fwend EmmieSue...yoo dids sooo well I weckon leaving them vetties a puddle to clean up and ignoring yor mummy...just the sort of fing I wuds do..and yoo been weally bwave....I hads my shots the uvver week but bro Your Drew never hads his this time as he too oldy now and mummy not want to upset him..he hads his tick and wormer tabby though...I tells yoo sumfing else I not happy aboot..thar is mention of me having a tooffer clean in just over a weeks time...I am hoping for deep snow so I wills not have to go...I keeps yoo posted...I hopes yor mummy gave yoo sumfing real nice to help yoo forget the vettie visit..at least yoo gots no more till next year and yor botty feels better.Big Huggies and kissies from Bestest fwend Bibsy and Smoochies fwom yor Drew and Mummy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh Bestest Bibs, I wish I not hab ta see my vet lady till next year but I heard Mommy sayin I gots ta go back in a month fer my last shot! Boo! Hoo! I do say! Las year I gots dem all at once an got all shaky an had ta hab a allergy pill ta calm me down. Now da splits my shots up I guess. Sorry to hear that you got tricked to going to the Vet. All us four footers know how you feel. You were very brave Emmie and I hope you have already recovered from all those pokes. Hehehe... Oh Emmie Sue the parting gift of a wet puddle made us laugh! You are a sassy funny girl.
