Please add our healing prayers and hope that Rookie is feeling more himself today. If he's upset about wearing the cone of shame,,Zenpet makes a more comfortable collar that you fill with air. Emmie and our cats have all tolerated it quite well.
Love, Deb and Emmie

He's doing great considering what he's been through. We haven't looked closely at his teeth but I did glimpse some sparkly teeth. We took his cone of shame off and watched to catch him if he tried to lick the incision where the mass was on his left leg but he didn't even try.

Funny, I don't think he can reach it. It would be like trying to kiss your elbow (the outside of the elbow).

He was very happy to have a meal. He hadn't eaten from Tuesday night until this morning (Thurs). He took his meds (2 pills) which we just dropped on his kibble and yogurt. I didn't want to try getting them in his mouth.

Thanks! He's acting pretty perky and starting to mouth off, which is a good sign. I have to chuckle . . . they took out one molar on top and one on the bottom jaw and also the six little ones which are between the canines. . . looks crazy-cute when he smiles!

I can hardly believe how fast and well he is recovering. That's my little Rookie boy. "Why nap when you can chase squirrels" seems to be his mantra!
