Claiming the new chair Vote for this post

Yes sir I say a new chair came into the house and very quickly I took my rightful place upon the throne making my bark heard. It's mine I tell ya. So my mom gave in and went to the old chair but I protested her sitting there too, that chair is mine also and got on her lap with a few stomp circling's and grumbles. She gets my message that all the furniture is mine and she is only getting to borrow it a short time.teehee Of course I obey on my own terms....mom doesn't let me get away with that attitude for long.
Happy Friday my pals xoxoxox Master Gradyxox

Love that "now it's mine" look!
Indeed, Cairns and Westies lay claim to all chairs, sofas, cushions, beds, and perches of any kind.

We have a recliner in a back bedroom that used to be a favorite place for Katy and Penny and anytime Emmy gets loose in the house she makes a beeline for that chair and starts digging frantically in the cushions...she is CERTAIN that there are other terriers lurking within. It's hysterical.

Yes that "owns it look" and a bark at it's best!
Grady did body slam and roll long the arms and back making a claim. No digging. He did paw the towel and removed it to the floor.
I remember the fun video you shared a while back of Emmy having a good frantic paw dig in the chair. Full of energy and cairn determination.

hehe oh yes if only they could open the oven door and frig we'd be out of food.LOL I made the mistake by giving Grady a finger full of mash potatos when he was a pup. Now everytime I make them he is jumping and whining for his taste of potatos. They become a little begger very quickly.LOL

More so I've noticed than Izzy who is a big foodie. Sadie is always running into the kitchen the minute I open the fridge or cupboard even after she has already been fed. Little minx

Of course just the right size for Grady. I actually bought another leather armchair so we could have one each in the kitchen/dining area (we don't have a table as I have a large computer desk). So we have an armchair each, had to be leather just in case one little dog piddles. We have leather armchairs and a leather couch in the lounge room but no little dogs in there until Sadie is fully toilet trained and not a chewing fiend.
