i am in the dog house
hi its me Oliie, I m in the dog house, you see, I spent the afternoon in the yard, having a wonderful time, I got a little muddy and decided to do zommies in the yard. Well mom wanted me to come in so I did, but I continued the zommies in the house and tried to make presley join me. Well he didn't want to and growled it me, I growled back and the chase was on. Mom finally got me to stop and put me in my kennel for a short while. I am not happy at all,.
mom here. Poor presley is not happy with Ollie right now. He just does want to play and Ollie doesn';t understand. I try to give presley as much time alone with me as possible, because I don't want him to feel like he is being pushed out. the poor little guy
sicne is the life with two westies, one young and one elderly.

Ah Ollie, you is still a young pup an Presley dons got as much energy as you gots! You'll figure it out and den you'll find a balance dat works fer bof a you, I do say! You keep doin your zoomies ta work off all dat energy an den maybe you'll be ready ta curl up fer a nap wif Presley. Hang in der buddy. I hab da same troubles wif my kitties. Oh Ollie..I knows how yoo feel cos sumtimes my elderly bro Drew dus play wiv me...but only when he wants to...well me like yoo is young whipper snappers and we gots more energy...Annie here...Sandi I know what its like ...Bibsy has loads of energy and I have to amuse her and Drew watches in the evenings but also then does try and join in and he has his own favorite toys I play with and have the balls for Bibs to scoot after...I am pleased we have the doggiehut cart when we go out with Drew and that way he walks and then gets in and rides while we push him and then lets us know when he wants to walk again....Bibsy is walking all the time..its a juggling act to give cuddles all round etc but good when I can use the sofa and have one either side of me!!Hugs Annie Biba and Drew xxxxxxx

Having a younger dog in the house does pose a different routine but seems you are doing the best for Presley giving him breaks from Ollie sometimes. Like Annie mentioned separately giving Ollie a fun activity of fetch burns off some of that youthful energy.

Sounds like he is settling in nicely. With us having a pup in the household with Izzy I find giving her a break overnight from the pup has really helped. Izzy is only 7 but she does enjoy a big rest overnight and the next morning more than ready to play again.
