May 25 - Update on MIRACLE
Miracle continues to slowly improve and make progress!!
Today the vet applied wet to dry dressings on Miracle's wounds to debride them. The dressing is applied wet and allowed to dry then peeled off. This removes the dead skin from the infected tissue. Miracle's wounds look good and are healing well with no new infection noted.
Most importantly -- Miracle seems to be perking up and in good spirits!
This boy is still not out of the woods and has a long road ahead of him. However, it appears that Miracle is a fighter and with the wonderful care he is receiving, he has a chance, a real chance to survive! Please keep those prayers coming -- I know they're working!

Miracles in our thoughts everyday. I let mom know what happening with him when she comes home.
